History and ministry
Shugo is located a few kilometres south of Gimbicho, the administrative centre of the Sooro district in the Hadiyya Zone.
The local ACE congregation was founded in 1977. Its first leader was Fiqre Fuse, a former member of the Mekane Yesus Church. About a dozen congregations branched out from the strong Shugo congregation.
