ወንጌላይ ጽሎ ማርቆሰን [St. Mark]. Translated by Walter A. Ohman (SIM), assisted by Kabada, Hailu and Darai. London and Addis Ababa: BFBS, 1934.
Notes
“Gofa is spoken by about 30,000 people living in the Gofa, Uba, and Zala Provinces of Ethiopia. Mr. Walter A. Ohman, of the Sudan Interior Mission, reduced the language to writing, and, with the help of three Africans, Kabada, Hailu, and Darai, translated the Gospel of St. Mark.” (BFBS Report 131 [1935], p. 340)
