History and ministry
Tsion Band served in the late 1980s.
It was the first Christian group to record an instrumental album in Ethiopia.
Members of Tsion Band included:
- Beniam Bedru: Keys
- Daniel Kindeya: Keys
- Dawit Tilahun: Drums
- Elias Melka: Lead guitar
- Yohannes Tona: Bass
Tsion Band is not to be confused with Tsion Choir.
