1927:
With the help of Onesimos Nesib, Rev. Martin Nordfeldt translated parts of the Swedish liturgy into Oromo. It was not published as a booklet because the missionary press in Eritrea was subject to Italian censorship. However, some copies were mimeographed in Nakamte.
1932:
Rev. Dietrich Wassmann translated with the assistance of Dafaa Jammoo) parts of the liturgy used in Hermannsburg during the Sunday service (in the Kleine Kreuzkirche?). The manuscript written in Aira seems to be lost.
1935; 1959/60:
The Nordfeldts included the translated service order (of 1927?) in the revised edition of Onesimos’s hymnal, which was reprinted in 1959/60:
